Plain inspiration

Some pictures just make me take another look, either just for inspiration, they make me happy, they relate to something, maybe something in my house that they make me realise that it is possible to redo into something nicer. Tin Inspiration

Living etc had an article that caught my eye. I specificly fell for the tin ceiling, I thought it was a fun idea for all those boring ceilings out there. This is from Australian interior stylist Sibella Court's Tribeca loft apartment in NYC

I have been on the lookout for white leather seats, any kind, and now IKEA acctually had a new type which I already love without having seen it live. I think it is such a fresh look.

Koloni Garden

Koloni Garden is a cafe in Stockholm, it is a really cozy cafe in a different way. You sit amongst flowers and interior that are for sale, and in the background you hear birds singing. It is like being outdoors but you are indoors at a shopping mall. Everytime I am in Stockholm I go here, just like the atmosphere.

New season

The best part about going from summer to fall are all the new catalogues and collections coming out. One of my favorite is Zara Home, they always have really inspiring, beautiful pictures.

Suburban Girl

I saw Suburban Girl the movie, also known as Girls Guide to Hunting and Fishing. The movie itself was allright, however I totally fell for the clothing in the movie that Sarah Michelle Gellar wore. I think it is Patricia Fields whom was the costume designer here too, and you can never go wrong then. Unfortunatly I couldn't find so many pictures on the web, but to give you a glimpse

Wedding bliss

Went to a summerwedding this weekend. Weddings are always fun. I have always been a big fan of the way they have been put together, different themes and the decor. People are so creative and there are so many ways of doing it. Wedding planner was once a profession I could see myself doing, however the requests for one here is not so big. But that doesn't stop me from buying wedding magazines. The brides cafe has an amazing site, all the pictures are so inspiring and beautiful.

Playful Tea-time

Jorine Oosterhoff is the woman whom has designed these fairytale like tea time sets. Why not put marmalade in a cup with legs. These are glased on the inside but not on the outside, which makes the finish cool and matte.



She also has this cute lamp, that I probably would buy if I saw it in a store, just take a lok at the pattern it makes..
